A software-definedfuture for robotics.
A better wayto build robotics.
Robotics has advanced quickly. But the way we build robotic systems is still fragmented.
Hardware, controllers, simulation tools, and software often live in separate environments, each with its own logic and workflow. Sodero grew out of years spent working through that complexity.
We came to believe that progress in robotics depends on more than better hardware or more powerful algorithms. The development experience itself has to improve. For us, user experience is part of the technology, not something added afterward.
That belief became Software-Defined Robotics. We are building a more intuitive, adaptable, and connected way to design, simulate, control, and evolve robotic systems.
How we buildSoftware-DefinedRobotics.
Four principles guide how we design our products, systems, and experiences.
- Continuous
One workflow from virtual to real.
We connect definition, simulation, control, runtime, and deployment into one continuous workflow, reducing friction from development to the real robot.
- Reusable
Build on what already works.
We standardize what can be standardized, making definitions, configurations, modules, and assets easier to reuse and manage across projects.
- Experience
Experience is part of the technology.
From developer workflows to product interfaces and customer touchpoints, we make complex robotics clearer, faster, and easier to work with.
- Connected
Built to work with the wider ecosystem.
We connect with existing software, hardware, and technologies, so teams can use the tools they need without being locked into a closed ecosystem.
How we work matters.
Our Eight Core Values shape how we think, collaborate, and work together. They guide the decisions we make, the people we work with, and the company we are building.
